Preston Hirten ’07 Heads To Ghana

Preston HirtenThe speedy midfielder/striker — who recently completed his sophomore year at the University of Mary Washington — heads Sunday, May 10 for a month of volunteering as a soccer coach for Cantonments Soccer Club. The club is based in Accra, the capital of Ghana.

Preston will work with junior teams each day. In addition, he may play with the senior team.

He will return in June with plenty of stories — and  some great new moves and talents to share with former teammates and current players.

Preston’s trip is organized by Projects Abroad, a worldwide organization.
