Jack Zeldes’ bowling prowess — 2 wins in 2 games, plus the most strikes and most spares — earned him 47 points in today’s Jack Scott Octathlon of Champions.
That score — the highest ever in Octo history — rockets him from 3rd place into a commanding 23-point lead. Graham Gudis drops to 2nd, while Brenden Price is 3rd.
Today’s bowling at Nutmeg Lanes in Fairfield was organized by Grant Sirlin. The next event in the 8-month competition is spikeball, organized by Gudis.
“Anything can happen in the upcoming Octos,” said head coach Dan Woog. “Anyone can win it.”
