Gudis Wins Mini-Golf Octathlon; Retakes Overall Lead

Graham Gudis picked up 27 big points — with low score (41), winning team and combined lowest score (89, with Brenden Price) in mini-golf, today’s Jack Scott of Champions Octathlon event.

The senior’s steady shooting enables him to retake the overall lead from Jack Zeldes, after 6 events. Gudis has 151 points, Zeldes 136, and Price is 3rd with 107.

Kenji Goto registered the 2nd lowest score (45), while Griff O’Neill earned 7 points for the most clutch putts.

Next up: the Fairfield 5K on Saturday, June 27. It’s also fundraiser for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, for kids with cancer (to register, click here).

After that: beach volleyball, organized by Daniel Brill.
