Seniors Announce College Choices
Eighteen seniors — believed to be the largest graduating class in Staples soccer history — receive their diplomas on June 16.
Will Adams will continue to play in college, at St. Olaf in Minnesota. He’ll have to wait a year, however: He had surgery recently, for a torn ACL suffered while skiing.
Thomas Corridon — who missed his past 2 varsity seasons, first with a back injury and then an ACL tear — will take a post-graduate year at Woodstock Academy in northeastern Connecticut.
Tri-captain Bruno Guiduli, whose indoor track relay team finished 6th in the nation, passed up his senior outdoor track season to play club soccer. He’s going to Macalester College in Minnesota, where he’ll train with the soccer team in the fall, to earn a spot next spring.

- Aidan Mermagen: University of Virginia
- Murilo Moreno: University of Oregon
- Jaden Mueller: Providence College
- Ryan Thomas: University of Rhode Island
- Caleb Tobias: University of Vermont
- Sam Vannart: Montana State University
- Reese Watkins: University of Florida
Tri-captain Jackson Hochhauser has not yet made a final decision on his college. Marius Ekeberg will go to school in his native Norway.
Staples soccer thanks all 18 seniors for their passion, pride and progress. Their many fans will follow their post-Staples careers with interest.
