State Champs Honored At Basketball Game
Halftime of Friday’s Staples boys basketball game was extra-special.
With the Wreckers well on their way to routing Greenwich — who else? — the 2025 state champion Staples team was honored.
The large crowd heard a recap of the remarkable season, and gave the squad a well-deserved hand.
Drew Hill — one of the fall captains, who wore the coveted #15 jersey, and who wears the #44 basketball jersey that honors Timari Reeves — popped out of the halftime talk, to join the team.
The way his ballers are rolling, he’s got a good chance for a second state championship ring this year.
Congrats to all the Wreckers — again!
