0Mike White Stars In SPARQ Test
The 2009 quad-captain finished 7th overall, among hundreds of elite players, at a recent athletic performance test in Florida.
White’s overall SPARQ rating — a mathematical equation measuring an athlete’s 20-meter sprint, vertical jump, arrowhead agility drill and yo-yo intermittent recovery test — was 109.23. That placed him almost at the top for the US Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase in Sarasota. Many of the nation’s top U-16 and U-18 clubs competed, and all players were tested.
Mike’s premier club is South Central U-18.
