7 Wreckers Earn FCIAC Honors

Frankie Bergonzi, Sean Gallagher, Greg Gudis and Brendan Lesch were named to the All-FCIAC team, while Jake Krosse, Court Lake and Mikey Scott earned All-Eastern Division honors.  All are seniors.

The selections — made by a vote of league coaches — marks the most Staples players on the All-League teams since 1972.  That year, 9 Wreckers were selected.

“This is nice — and well-deserved — recognition by all the coaches of our team,” said Staples head coach Dan Woog.  “This is one of the toughest leagues in the state, if not the country.  Being named an all-league player is a tremendous honor.”
