Support Laura Blair’s STAR Walk
Staples super-fan Laura Blair is once again working for a great cause.
On Sunday, May 5 she will take part in STAR’s 8th annual Walk, Roll & Stroll at Sherwood Island. STAR is an agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Mid-Fairfield County.
The Walk, Roll & Stroll event helps the organization support 11 group homes and 16 apartments, assisting 87 people with independent living. STAR provides training and job placement to nearly 250 adults.
Last year, Laura raised $4,000 for this worthy cause. Her “Team Laura Blair” earned the 5th highest amount of money, of all participants. This year’s goal is $4,500.
Each fall she is on the Hill — and wherever we travel — providing players with post-game treats, warm blankets, and moral support.
