Matteo Broccolo, Shane Dasbach, Gabe Pensak: Italian Stars!
Staples soccer players are known for starring on the field, as well as in the classroom.
Now they’re doing it in other languages too.
Matteo Broccolo won 1st place — nationally — in the 2015 Italian High School Contest Examination. Fellow sophomore Shane Dasbach placed 4th in the country. Gabe Pensak earned honorable mention.
Over 5500 students took the test.
Their teacher, Enia Noonan, says, “They’re wonderful both on and off the field!”
