Playoffs Set! Staples Hosts McMahon Wednesday, 3 pm
The Central Division playoffs have been announced.
Staples — the #2 seed — hosts Brien McMahon this Wednesday (November 4) at Loeffler Field. Kickoff is 3 p.m., at home. The action will be livestreamed, at http://vimeo.com/event/321995. Jem Sollinger ’88 will join the WWPT-FM crew on the call.
The other semi pits Ridgefield at #1 Wilton.
Danbury and Norwalk — the other 2 teams in this year’s FCIAC semifinal — cannot compete, due to COVID quarantines.
“This is what we’ve been playing for — and keeping safe for — all season long,” says head coach Dan Woog. “Our guys are playing well, they’re confident, and they are a very competitive group. We’re in it to win it!”
