Register Now For Fall Tryouts
Tryouts for the varsity, reserve and freshman teams begin August 29. But boys interested in competing for a spot in the Staples High School program must register by August 19. No one will be allowed to try out on the first day unless he has registered by the cutoff date, 10 days earlier.
Click here for the registration link. Note that the player and his parent must register together, as some forms require parental consent.
Players must also have a physical exam on file in the nurses’ office. A physical is valid for 13 months. If an athlete has not had a physical — or if the physical will run out during the season — he should schedule one now. Click here for the physical form.
