Wreckers Clean Up At Car Wash

If you notice some spiffy vehicles around Westport, chances are they were washed at the annual car wash yesterday.

Players from the varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams hosed down, sponged and dried dozens of cars. They also paraded around downtown, drawing attention to the cause.

Overall, they “cleaned up” to the tune of $3,216.

Congratulations to all — and special thanks to Amanda Kuster and Suzanne Allen, who coordinated the event Netta Beebe and Dani Rossoni, who helped as varsity captains’ parents; Behrad Derakshen and Noah Fenn for providing pizza; Christ & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, for offering space and hospitality, and all the parents who volunteered their help on a busy Saturday.
