5 Wreckers Earn Honors At SHS Awards Night
Five Staples boys soccer players received honors, at the school’s annual Awards Night this week.
Sam Rossoni was one of 3 finalists for the Staples Key. The highest prize of all — given for service to the school — ultimately went to girls soccer player Alexis Krenzer.
Fellow senior Luca Caniato was called up twice. He earned a Principal’s Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution, as well as an Excellence in Italian honor.
Two underclassmen received Staples Awards for Character: sophomore Nicolas Reyna and freshman Kai Massicott. In addition, Elijah Falkenstein earned an Excellence in Civics award.
