Wreckers Get Ready With Vermont Bonding Trip

There’s nothing like 4 days in the Vermont woods to get ready for the upcoming season.

Eleven returnees headed off Tuesday for the annual bonding trip. All 11 returned, safe and sound, after a jam-packed journey.

Among the activities: cliff-jumping, railroad-bridge jumping, paintball, canoeing, hiking, spikeball, berry-picking and meteor shower-watching in the clear New England sky.

“This was absolutely one of the best trips ever,” says head coach Dan Woog. “It was a great way to be together, challenge each other, work as a group, and focus on the season ahead.”

Tryouts begin August 26.

Hanging out at a waterfall, near a high cliff perfect for jumping.

Ready for paintball.

Jaden Mueller does a double flip off a railroad bridge. Other players leaped too.

A competitive game of spikeball.

On a hike, and then lueberry, raspberry and peach picking,, the team saw sheep and horses.
