Wreckers Raise Record Fund$ In Alzheimer’s Walk

For years, the Staples boys soccer program has given back to others.

The 2022 Wreckers upheld that tradition today. The varsity, reserve and freshman teams participated in the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Norwalk’s Calf Pasture Beach.

But they did more than show up. Staples boys soccer raised $9,428. That was the most of all 60 FCIAC teams, in a wide range of sports, that participated. And it was the 5th highest total, of all 284 groups in the walk.

Congratulations to all the Wreckers, for your great work. And a pecial shout-out to leading fundraiser Gavin  Gravelle ($1,250), and organizer Alex Laskin.
