1WSA Walks For Kelvin
Veteran WSA coach Kelvin Mutambo is well known to the Staples community. The former Zambia national team player has faced medical problems recently, and now the WSA and Staples hope to give something back to a good friend.
On Friday, June 5 the WSA is sponsoring a Walk-a-Thon at Wakeman (7-8:30 p.m.). All interested players and their families are asked to collect donations before the event — either a flat amount, or an amount per lap expected to walk. Donations should be collected beforehand, and handed in at the event.
All donations go directly to Kelvin and his family. Checks (tax-deductible) should be made out to “WSA,” with “Walk for Kelvin” in the subject line. Click here (and scroll down) to print out the pledge sheet.
The Staples boys soccer program is proud to be part of this important event.
