Car Wash Sets New Record!

There was great weather for today’s Staples boys soccer car wash.

There was also construction downtown, limiting traffic near the Christ & Holy Trinity Church parking lot site.

Nonetheless, 3 shifts of Wreckers worked hard, for 6 hours. They marketed the car wash well on area streets, and sold baked goods donated by parents.

When it was all over, they made $3,276.19. That beats last year’s total — itself a record — by a whopping $56.64! Every little bit helps — thanks to all who put us over the top.

Nearly 70 players in the program each took a shift. Larry and Betsy Berman were there all day, overseeing a dedicated crew of parent volunteers.

It was a great day for the Staples boys soccer program. And most cars even left cleaner than when they arrived.
