Brits Invade Wakeman B
Last spring, a group of Westport FC players — the Over-30 team that included many Staples alums — traveled to England to take on the Oxford Old Boys team (and tour The Emirates Stadium with Arsenal CEO/GM, and former FC player, Ivan Gazidis).
This Sunday, Ivan and a crew of Brits return the favor. They’ll hang in New York for the weekend, then venture to Westport for a historic rematch.
Game time is 12 p.m., at Wakeman B (turf field).
