0Graham Gudis Keeps Octathlon Lead
Thanks to 3 round-robin wins in 5-v-5 basketball, plus playing on the runnerup team overall — and snagging an MVP selection in 1 game — Graham Gudis maintained his lead in the Jack Scott Octathlon of Champions race. Brenden Price trails by only 2 points, Jack Zeldes by 5.
Today’s contest — the 2nd of 8, organized by Kenji Goto — saw 4 teams battle it out. The winners in the finals were Daniel Brill, Kenny Brill, Luca Cocito, Sam Kantor, Teddy Lawrence and Zeldes.
Daniel Brill earned 3 separate MVP mentions. Other MVPs included Price, Nick Benjamin and Eric D’Addario Brenden Price. Other points went to D’Addario (Sharpshooter), Spencer Daniels (The Wall), Sebastian Wick (Try Hard) and Greg Preiser (X-Factor).
