Staples Soccer Alumni Day Set For October 15
Staples boys soccer proudly announces the 1st annual Alumni Day: Saturday, October 15.
The Wreckers play Fairfield Warde that day at 4 p.m. Staples beat Warde 2-1 in last year’s FCIAC finals – and the Eagles return another excellent team. It should be a superb match.
There will be a cider-and-doughnuts reception on The Hill beginning at 3:15 p.m. An alumni photo will be taken at halftime.
There’s a post-game gathering too, at a local watering hole.
All alumni – and families – are warmly invited. Please RSVP (dwoog@optonline.net), so organizers can get a relatively accurate count for the first of what promises to be a great annual tradition.
The 1962 team came back for the 50th celebration in 2008…
