Chris Meinke ’05 Announces The Birth Of Tucker
Chris Meinke ’05 — the Staples soccer captain and Loeffler Scholarship Award winner who went on to star at Connecticut College, then became Longshore’s club golf champion — and his wife Carolyn are new parents.
They welcomed Tucker Parke Meinke to the world on April 20. “Both Tucker and Mom are doing well,” Chris reports. “Fatherhood is amazing!”
Despite sleep deprivation, he brings Staples soccer fans up to his life after high school:
“I was captain of my college team as a senior, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics. I continue to play competitively throughout Connecticut, balancing my time with my passion for golf where I have worked to become a scratch golfer. I married fellow Staples graduate Carolyn Jeffery in 2014. I work in Rowayton as a financial analyst for a London-based consultant.”
Tuckers’ grandparents (Dr. Alan and Lori Meinke) and great-grandparents (Staples graduates Dick and Mary Anne Alley) are doing well too.
