George Barrett ’73 Earns Cardinal Honor
George Barrett ’73 — former CEO — is stepping down as board chairman of Cardinal Health. Prior to that, he served as longtime CEO.
But before he leaves next month, the Fortune 15 global health care company is honoring its longtime leader.
Last week, the Dublin, Ohio-based firm named part of its headquarters for the former Staples High and Brown University soccer star.
The ceremony naming “Barrett Hall” was held the same weekend as Staples’ 60th anniversary celebration. Barrett could not be in Westport — but helped sponsor the weekend anyway.
