James Hickok ’13 Earns All-Ivy League Honors

James Hickok ’13 has added another feather to his fine college cap.

The 2-time Staples soccer captain and high school Academic All-American — and current Dartmouth College captain/economics major — was named to the 2016 All-Ivy League team. The vote was made by all 8 coaches.

Hickok ranks 2nd among league leaders in save percentage (.841) and goals against average (0.64), while ranking 11th nationally in the former and 15th in the latter. He finished the regular season with 6 shutouts, and allowed only 12 goals.

Hickok leads the Big Green into the NCAA Division I tournament tomorrow night (Thursday, November 17). Dartmouth hosts St. Francis College.

In other Ivy news, Kevin Anderson — good friends of Staples assistant coach Tom Henske — was named league Coach of the Year.
