James Hickok ’13: Red Bulls II Hopeful
It’s been quite a year for James Hickok ’13.
The Staples co-captain and high school All-American — who then captained Dartmouth College to their 3rd straight Ivy League championship — headed overseas, to play in Scotland and Sweden.
Now he’s back in the States — and much closer to home. Hickok is training with the New York Red Bulls II team. He’s on trial with the USL squad throughout preseason.
This week, Hickok travels to Arizona for the Mobile Mini Sun Cup. The Red Bulls II play Sporting Kansas City, Portland Timbers and Houston Dynamo. Matches will be livestreamed.
