1John Brannan ’69 To Run For Selectman
The Wrecker formerly known as “Raisin” (Raisin Brannan — get it?) has announced his candidacy for the town’s top spot — the town of Hull, Massachusetts, that is.
The election is in 6 weeks. John faces 2 long-term locals.
After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, John became a small business owner. Entrepreneur Magazine named him Texas Entrepreneur of the Year. He also held senior management positions in sales and marketing.
John is a member of his town’s Zoning Board of Appeals. He helped found the Destination Community Development non-profit group — which helped start Hull’s farmers market — and serves on its board of director.
He also coaches a boys team in the Hull Youth Soccer Association.
