0Luca Cocito Leads Team To Octathlon Volleyball Win
In the tightest Jack Scott Octathlon of Champions event ever, 2 beach volleyball teams battled to 5 games — and extra points in the final — before the squad of Kenny Brill, Luca Cocito, Kenji Goto, Andres Marmelo and Brenden Price emerged on top.
Cocito — a Staples volleyball player, like Brill and the Octo organizer, his brother Daniel Brill, was voted MVP. He also earned points for best block Additional points went to Cocito (best kill), Goto (best dig) and Price (best dressed).
Graham Gudis widens his Octo lead over Jack Zeldes,172.5 points to 143.5. But Price sneaks up in 3rd place (133), with Goto not far behind (129.5).
The next Octathlon event is poker, organized by Aidan Wisher.
