Mike Noonan ’79 Honored At White House
Mike Noonan ’79 — head coach of the Clemson University national champion men’s soccer team — led the Tigers to the White House today.
They were part of an event honoring all 2023-24 NCAA national champs.
This was the 2nd title for Noonan — a star of Staples’ 1978 state champion squad — in 3 years.
Also at the White House with Clemson: goalkeeper Paddy Donovan. A 2021 Staples grad, he pursued an academy pathway, and did not play for the Wreckers. He is a stalwart attendee at many Staples summer and alumni events.
