Mikey Scott ’11 Elected President

As a Staples soccer player, Mikey Scott ’11 was known for  his long throw and passionate play.

At the University of Michigan, he’s now known as Mr. President.

After just 1 season — and a trip to the national tournament in Arizona — the 1st-year student was elected president of the school’s club soccer team.

His responsibilities include scheduling games, revising and managing the budget, reporting club finances to the rec sports department, updating the team website, finding sponsors, overseeing other officers, and recruiting players.

He has already reached out to the Michigan varsity to schedule scrimmages, and set up a system to receive old uniforms.

Mikey — whose 2 years of experience working with Lenox Advisors has given him a head start with finances and management — promises periodic updates on Michigan club soccer.
