Noah Schwaeber Drives Ahead In Mini-Golf Octathlon

Noah Schwaeber was the big winner in the May Octathlon: mini-golf at Cove Marina in Norwalk. He picked up 30 points, with the 2nd lowest score (45, 1 behind Andrew Puchala), plus top pair (with Graham Gudis), most clutch putt, and a hole-in-one. Schwaeber also won a playoff with a hole-in-one. Other winning pairs were Puchala/Gabe Pensak, and Ethan Kobak/Matt Bateman (in a playoff).

Patrick Beusse and Michael Reid were best dressed.

Schwaeber’s record-setting performance vaults him into the overall Jack Scott Octathlon of Champions lead. After 5 events he has 60 points, 2 more than Kenji Goto. Gudis is 3rd (56), while James Lewis (52) and Reid (38) round out the Top 5.
