Soccer Car Wash Another Success

Staples boys soccer’s annual car wash faced challenges this year.

The weather was iffy. Due to a funeral at Christ & Holy Trinity Church — the event site — the Wreckers lost 2 afternoon hours of work.

But that did not prevent 60 varsity, reserve and freshmen players — and many parents — from washing dozens of cars. And selling plenty of baked goods.

They raised $2,080 for the program. Just as importantly, they worked together, as one team.

Now Westport’s Audis, BMWs and Range Rovers look much, much cleaner.
