Former Wreckers Compete In College Club Soccer Regionals
Joe Greenwald ’14, Noah Schwaeber ’16 and Ziggy Hallgarten ’17 play for different teams. But all 3 former Staples soccer players were in the same place this weekend: the University of Delaware, for the college club soccer regional tournament.
Schwaeber — who plays for the host team — and Hallgarten (Cornell University) were varsity goalkeepers together for 3 years. Greenwald — who preceded them as captain — is a striker for the University of Connecticut.
Matches continue today, to see who will have bragging rights at the Turkey Bowl this Thanksgiving.
