3 Wreckers Head To Regionals
Three Staples soccer players — representing 2 teams — head to the US Youth Soccer Region I tournament this weekend, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Jake Malowitz and Taylor McNair — who graduated in June — play for Beachside Soccer Club’s U-17 team. The 2 defenders helped their squad win its 5th consecutive Connecticut Junior Soccer Association state cup earlier this month.
Harry Birch — a senior on Beachside’s U-16 side — won his 2nd CJSA cup.
