James Hickok ’13 Earns 3rd Rookie Of Week Honors This Year

James Hickok ’13 has done it again.

Dartmouth College’s freshman keeper was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, for the final week of the 2013 season. It marked his 3rd time winning the honor. Hickok also won it twice in a row on September 16 and 23 — the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the season.

Hickok earned his 3rd award by leading Dartmouth to its 1st Ivy win of the year, a 3-1 victory over Brown last weekend. Staples junior defender Andrew Puchala was at the match in Providence, and called several of Hickok’s saves “amazing.”

In 9 starts this season, Hickok registered 3 shutouts. He has a 0.792 save percentage. He did not allow more than 2 goals in a game this year, and made a season-high 8 stops against Yale on October 12.

Congratulations, James! Staples Keeper Nation is proud of you.
