Save The Date! Staples Soccer Sets 60th Anniversary Celebration
If you thought Staples soccer’s 50th anniversary celebration was great — just wait!
Actually, don’t wait. Save Saturday, October 13. That’s the date of our 60th anniversary celebration.
It’s a full day of activities:
- 12 noon tailgate at Loeffler Field
- 2 pm match vs. Darien (a big rival now)
- 4 pm pick-up soccer (all ages – including kids)
- 7 pm bash at Dan Donovan ‘82’s house (same place as last time!)
Details will be coming soon. In the meantime, we’re looking for:
- A co-chair for the event
- Volunteer organizers in any capacity
- “Group captains” for the following years, to help draw a great crowd: (1958-65; 1976-80; 1991-95; 2001-05; 2006-10)
We look forward to hearing back. In the meantime, save that date!
