Turkey Bowl Tradition Continues
More than 3 dozen Staples soccer players — including 1974 co-captain Dave Wilson, and several current Wreckers — filled Wakeman Field Thanksgiving morning. Alumni parents watched too.
The annual Turkey Bowl game continued, under brilliant skies and warm-for-November temperatures.
As is traditional, teams competed by “eras.”
The old guys showed the younger ones that they’ve still got it. The younger guys got a taste of what’s to come.
Everyone went home feeling great about Staples soccer — and hungry for Thanksgiving dinner.
